Monday

Good morning, everyone!  I hope your weekend was enjoyable and restful too.

I had a pleasant time.  The morning was spent in a bit of the old housework and some cooking while the afternoon was spent in a bit of gentle crafting.
I turned a pile of bought stuff into one of my Christmas  sideboard arrangements.  A bit early but it seemed daft to put it all away and then get it all out again and the tuition srtudents will like it so . . .
(terrible light, sorry)

Today is a bit full.
This morning, I have planning and then I want to tackle a few very untidy piles of 'stuff'.  After lunch, I am off to school to help out in FS before coming home for tuition.  It should be a pleasant day and I'll get plenty done which is always satisfying.

That's about it, really.  How about you?

  1. I love your sideboard arrangement. That should put you in the moof for Christmas. I bought some new antique white tree lights from the garden centre after discovering last year that my new lights had a blue white hue. Not nice at all. Apart from. That the only thing of note was choir practice for our concerts at Stanbrook Abbey.enjoy your Monday.

  4. You are looking very festive - my MIL bought me a Poinsettia every year when she came - I kind of miss them now.
    Have a productive day.

  5. Your sideboard arrangement looks lovely. Do you use the candles or will you save them to put out each year?

  6. Lovely arrangement! We’ve had snow here in Missouri yesterday, not as much as some but it looks Christmasy! I put up the tree this weekend as I love it’s pretty lights. I know your students will enjoy your Christmas cheer, as well. Happy week! Zenda

  7. Thank you so much, everyone. It does make me feel Christmassy when I look at it. I will burn the candles and enjoy them each day until Twelfth Night when it should all go away again for the next year.
Snow - wow, Zenda. It's cold here but nowhere near snoy conditions - yet.

  8. That arrangement looks lovely, I love green & red for Christmas, you can't beat it.
We had a walk along the sea front today after being indoors all weekend. That sounds like we've been chained up, it was only two days, but yesterday was cold and Saturday was very wet!

  9. My Christmas colours are always red, gold and green. For me, they are the most festive and so cheering when it is dark and gloomy.

  11. Very pretty. I don't usually do a lot of decorations, but it is nice to have something bright to cheer up the house!
