A week in pictures

Wednesday:  where the Christmas tree stood.  It's very bare now.

Thursday:  so nice to get the washing out on the line - shame about the rain later though.

Friday and Saturday:  Ooops, forgot!

Sunday:  Good old Hobbycraft.  This is for a simple jumper, the yarn doing the talking rather than the pattern.

And a walk out through Chignall St James.  Blustery wind but plenty of sunshine.

Monday:  a walk around Admiral's Park

Tuesday:  it may be raining but it was worth getting slightly damp to take this photo of the snowdrops, just starting to bud up and flower.  These are in the back garden and it really lifted my spirits to see them.

  1. I have snowdrop envy ... there's no sign of mine yet!

    1. It's a bit colder your way, isn't it? I think that makes a difference.

  2. Nearly missed your weekly roundup - such lovely pictures. I found some snowdrops too here in our Scottish garden. I like the colours in your yarn - I really must get my knitting needles going again.

    1. I love knitting. It gives my hands something to do of an evening and it's a very productive activity too.
It's beautiful when the first bulbs appear, isn't it?

  3. It's lovely to see the early signs of spring on it's way. I've grown tired of the cold damp weather now. X

    1. It's been very, very damp here too. A bit of snow would be nice though - nothing too annoying, just a fluttering to look pretty!
