Tuesday

Good morning, all.  Sorry this is a bit later this morning; I had planned an early morning swim and didn't wake until six so things were just a bit rushed.  I'm home now feeling very healthy!

Well, yesterday turned out to be a pretty miserable day as far as the weather was concerned.  Rain more or less all day, not hard but pretty steady.  Just what the garden ordered.  It's nicer this morning although there's not much sun about - yet.

I got one smallish cupboard sorted out.  It was astounding how much I had managed to pack in - stuff I haven't used for years and which I had pretty much forgotten about.  What I want to keep is back in and isn't threatening to fall out any more, chipped stuff is in the recycling box and the rest will go down to the hospice shop now that Beth has taken a few things.

I won't be doing any more clearing today as it's a busy one.  I'm not long back from my swim (an hour today - yay!) and I will be catching the 11:28 bus into town to meet up with Beth and Alex for lunch at a Chinese buffet.

Then it will be back and out to tuition.

All go!
xx

  1. I did wonder where you were! Having a swim must be a good start to the day - I have just come over from Sue's blog and she goes too so I feel I really ought to go and have a dip in the sea now!! Perhaps some gentle gardening will be my exercise for the day. These cupboards are like Mary Poppins bag when you get going. Have a good day. x

    1. It does feel good afterwards - all warm and buzzy. Worth thje effort to get motivated to go and I ought to remember that more. :-)

  2. Our local community pool burned down last year and has yet to be rebuilt. So, no swimming for me! It really is the best overall exercise and not so hard on the joints as other forms of workouts. I walk and play tennis instead.

    1. What a shame about the pool - it can take ages for things like that to go through, what with sorting insurance, plabnning, consultations, etc, etc, etc. I agree, I find it great exercise and am always 'buzzing' in a good way afterwards. SUpported and safe, you're working a lot harder than you realise.
Walking is also good but I couldn't play tennis to save my life, I suspect.
I hope they start replacing that pool soon.
