Sunday

Morning, everyone.  Happy Sunday to you all.  It's another lovely day after a cold night - true Autumnal weather.

Yesterday was fun.  We all enjoyed our walk through the parks and have decided that as well as that one, we will add variety with a walk around Writtle, a local village with two places where we can stop for coffee.  I'm looking forward to that.

Then I came home and finished off washing and drying the sheets before settling down with some more crochet.  I'm working on the border and am being much more careful to have the right number of stitches so I don't have to 'fudge' it at all.  So I've undone it once but second time seems to be going better.

However, the big thing today is the ironing because I didn't get any done yesterday and I don't want to have it hanging over until tomorrow.  There's quite a pile because of the extra bedding.

So it's going to be a quiet day today and tomorrow will also be quiet and gentle apart from early morning circuits, changed from lunchtime.  Once home after that, I will be glued to the telly pretty much for the funeral and following whatever.
I must remember that there's a minutes silence tonight at eight with a pre-recorded tribute from Camilla before hand.  I don't want to miss that.

However you intend spending today and tomorrow, I hope you are able to do what feels right for you, whatever that looks like.  xx

  1. I didn't know about the minutes silence tonight so thank you for that. I'll be glued to the TV tomorrow as well ... I think most of the country will be.

Blogger is playing up again and I've had to access your blog by finding an old comment and finding your profile and a link to your blog that way. I think the issue is more widespread than last time so just giving you a head's up if you think your blogging friends aren't updating their blogs!

    1. Eileen, your blog has disappeared from my Blog List as have a couple of others including Bless. Hope they come back soon!

    2. Thanks for the heads up. I wonder what the problems are - over-stretched the system, maybe? It's a nuisance for Bloggers and their followers, that's for sure.
I remembered the silence last night. Even on my own, it didn't feel 'silly' - for all those people grouped together out and about in London, it must have been a very powerful experience.
      xx

  2. Glad you had a good time. It's on early here. I'll probably be up to watch some of it. I do have my Covid booster tomorrow as well as a flu shot so will leave for that.
