Wednesday

Today's garden happy - loads and loads of tomatoes but not a hint of any ripening yet.  Come on, tomatoes . . .

Morning, everyone.  Yesterday was a funny day, weather wise.  Instead of sunshine, we had cloud and a breeze so generally it felt more comfortable than excepted until it started feeling humid and we had some rain, just a little bit.  It's really lovely at the moment.  Sunny and fresh and I do wish it could stay that way.

Groove was fine ysterday, we had all the windows in the hall open and there was a bit of air blowing through.  Lindsey adapted sequences and it was good.
The rest of the day I spent chilling and an afternoon siesta was lovely.

Today I plan to go fruit picking first thing, then to the farm shop (I wonder if they have frozen cherries there) and then chilling at home until personal training in the afternoon - which might be a bit much but we will see.  Yesterday was fine so it will probably be fine too.

Everything slows down or stops in the hot weather, doesn't it?  Take care and stay as cool as you can.  xx

  1. My toms are slow ripening this year and they are in a greenhouse.
There was a good little rain here yesterday - did the garden good but didn't add to the water butts.
    Have a good day

    1. It sounds as if you had more than we did here. It freshened things up a bit and that was good..
      Thanks - you too. xx

    1. They had them at Lathcoats so I bought a big bag - some for jam and some for liqueur. Mmmmmmm.

  3. Tesco has frozen cherries if you couldn't get any at the PYO place. We didn't have rain yesterday but are supposed to have a bit today. I hope so, just to clear the air ... it's headache weather!

    1. It is rather. It was delightful at Lathcoats, out among all the apple and other fruit trees but the heat is building. It's much sunnier today but, to be fair, less humid.

  4. Yes, I slow down when it's hot outside, too. It's wonderful to swim in the lake everyday, though. It's so refreshing.

  5. Hope you found some good things to pick. I'm also not a fan of high humidity, it seems to drain me of energy!

  6. Just blossoms on our tomatoes right now, but we do have some smallish cukes forming and I can hardly wait. I even saw a very small pie pumpkin forming today.

    God bless.

    1. Once they get going, they really flourish, don't they? It won't be long before you have to give them away, I am sure. I'm loving the cucumbers. I still have Julia's to start and there are three more coming along. I need to plan some sort of cucumber salady stuff - or more smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches! xx
