Tuesday

Morning, everyone.  It's a very misty start to the day, but it's dry and we may, possibly, get some sunshine.
Yesterday was OK until I walked along the road to tuition when, during the hour for work, it started raining so I got just a bit damp on the way back.

OK, so yesterday passed very pleasantly.  I got washing done but not dried outside as it was dull and felt a bit damp, so my home definitely smelled of washing on the rack- you know that faint and indefinable smell that always reminds me of childhood although there are no fires burning in the fireplace now.

Circuit training was good.  Lindsey did a sort of body fat, aerobic type thing today so we all did the same thing at the same time and, while it was hard work, afterwards it felt great.

The tuition - I remembered this week - was really good.   The student did very well and it was all most satisfying.

Today is pretty clear except for a couple of things.  This morning, I have an online funeral to attend and, at the same time, Alex is round for a job interview, also online, in my relatively uncluttered and tidy home.  I will be using my loop thing so we won't interfere with each other.

I will be going to the allotment today to dig up all the remaining Charlotte spuds and then forking over and weed-clearing the whole potato area right up to the courgettes and French beans so that will be another good patch cleared.  As we had rain, there probably won't be any need to water but I might just treat the beans and courgettes to some anyway.

And there's washing, drying and ironing, so I won't be lazy today.

Stay safe, everyone and have an enjoyable day.  xx

    1. The sun is just starting to break through a little bit which is nice. I'm just about to put some washing out too and then put in another load. Has to be done, after all.

  2. Fingers crossed for Alex - an online interview in your home, how our world has changed! Well done on remembering the tuition ;-) although I'm sure the forgetfulness last week was a one-off! xx

  3. Good luck to Alex - my neice has started her new graduate job with Vodaphone online for the first 2-3 weeks before she has to go to London to actually work in their offices and even then she only works in the office 2 days and the rest from her flat. The flat has been harder than the job to get, most landlords down there are now just asking for offers for the rent and of course taking the highest bidder. So far my neice had offered on over a dozen. At last it seems she has found something but the landlord has still not signed the agreement so maybe he is trying to find a higher offer - such a difficult system that has evolved down there.
have a good day on the allotment. x

  4. Good luck to Alex. I hope it works out for him.

Sending {[hugs}} re the funeral. I find the online ones quite difficult but it is better than not being there at all.

  5. It has rained overnight...beautiful morning...everything washed clean and the sun is out again! This motivated me to clean my kitchen which is not my favourite pastime, the motivation bit didn't last long though! I must admit I do like to see a clean, uncluttered kitchen so it was worth the sighs and a few groans and moans LOL! Enjoy your day:-) Amanda x

  6. It’s been raining off and on here today too, but we did get a little sunshine this afternoon, which was nice. Sounds like you are busy. I’ve been steaming clothes today, noting too exciting. Lol

  7. No rain the last couple of days, but we have almost reached freezing a couple of nights. Hopefully I will be able to get the last few eggplants and peppers big enough to pick.

    God bless.
