Good morning, everyone.  What a great night's sleep!  Nearly ten hours and I must have really needed it!  It was proper daylight when I woke and there's another beautiful frost.  They can't go on much longer but, in the sunshine, they are gorgeous.

I had great fun in my kitchen yesterday morning using up my starter discard and making pasta (tagliatelle and lasagne sheets), pikelets and pancakes.  The pancakes gave me breakfast, some of the tagliatelle was part of dinner (the rest has dried out for another few meals) and the pikelets are in the freezer although I'm having two this morning with an egg.
Both pancakes and pasta were delish!

I got to Hobbycraft and, yes, they had the yarn in and three for two so now I have the yarn and can start when I want.  Excellent.

Today is another stay at home and chill sort of day, I think.  I need to download some paperwork and read it through and get a few other things done but that won't take long so I will probably start my new knitting project.

Short and sweet today.  Have a lovely Sunday, whatever your plans are.  xx

    1. :-) Thanks.
I have a feeling the bread won't be nearly so successful but if you don't try . . .
      Have a good day. xx

    1. Hee hee - no point buying an expensive gadget when a coat hanger does the job perfectly!
I am sure Squeak forgives you! ;-) xx

  5. I love to see home made pasta hanging up to dry ... especially on a coat hanger. :-)

    1. It's very homey, isn't it, like letting bread rise in a bowl or hanging herbs up to dry. xx

    1. It's really easy. I use Thermione for the first bit but I think it would just as easily be done all by hand - in fact, must try that next time. 100g pasta flour (the 00 kind) and one egg. I do add a bit of oil but you don't have to. The starter discard is additional to these. xx
