Friday

Good morning, everyone.  It's pretty chilly outside this morning, definitely one of those times to be glad for the central heating.

I got one of my holidays booked yesterday - the easy one which was another week at Center Parcs.  I've booked at Elveden again because I know it but I notice that Woburn is not too far from my parents' place really so I might book a Monday to Friday short break there at some point  to see what it's like.

It felt like a busy day but somehow I managed to find the time to eat my face off so weigh in results were not great.
Today is another busy day all day so maybe that will keep me out of temptation's way.  Fingers crossed.

Well, it is busy so I need to stop waffling and get working.  Have a great day, whatever the plans are, and if you're feeling poorly, lots of love and get well soon.
xx

  1. It is nice to have a holiday to look forward to when it is a bit grey and cold outside.I am sure you will get the weight back on target - this weather is not good for the diet it is so tempting to stay warm and eat!
Have a good day - I shall be racing around preparing for our little soiree tomorrow evening with some friends (her house is always immaculate - she has a good cleaner!). x

  2. How lovely to have a holiday booked already. We can't decide what to do this year (for many reasons!)

The down side of having a relaxed festive break is definitely eating too much! In a way I'm glad to be going back to school on Monday so I can get back into a routine!!

    1. I was thinking the same thing about my little bit of tuition. Doing it does make a difference and does keep me occupied. Hopefully, I will see a difference next week. :-)
Booking a holiday early enough gives me the chance to save up properly, I think. It's a nice feeling.

  3. It's always good to have a holiday booked. It gives you something to look forward to and something to work towards. I have booked a couple of camping ones here in the US, but I am already looking at flights to come to visit Mum in England. We will probably go away for a week while I am there. Last year we did two five-days - one in Devon and one in Wales. The weather was fabulous, but I'm not sure we can count on that again!

    1. It does feel nice, even though it's ten months away. Time passes so quickly! You can never rely on good weather at any given time here, unfortunately!
