29-06-25

Hello again, everyone.  It's Sunday, day of rest, day of doing not-a-lot.  Mine is sort of like that; self-chosen nice thing and making progress in sorting out the PC issues.  That's all good.

Garden photos:  I took a couple of views across the garden a few minutes ago.   Not great light - the sun hasn't properly come out yet, but you get the idea.
While it is a kind of old fashioned layout nowadays, it is one of my happy spaces at the moment with everything growing and promising tasty things or looking pretty.

And one daring runner bean is reaching for the stars.  The others are not that far behind.   It is amazing how quickly they grow once they get going.

Yesterday's walk was very pleasant.  We took it slowly as one of our number has been quite ill, but that meant more time for chatting.
When we started at around 10:30, it was delightfully fresh.  Not cool but really pleasant.  By the time we finished it was a lot hotter and I think we were all glad to get into our respective transport and turn on the fan!

I had my online chat later and it was very helpful.  It is easy to forget how amazing technology is and how much it has come on.  Being able to chat to someone, face to face, me in Essex and her in New York is something we just take for granted and it is incredible really.

Today I have already been pretty busy in the kitchen knocking up a batch of lentil and veg bolognaise sauce in Thermione.  It was supposed to be to portions but it's come out as three of my sized portions.  All I have to do now is cook the spaghetti and make a little side salad and that's dinner sorted.
Lunch will be at the Thermomix centre, of course, as I'm going to that demo, catching the bus at eleven.

Then, later on, Eddie is round with my retrieved data to see what can be done.  Exciting stuff.

So that's my Sunday.  How about yours - what do you have on the timetable today?  Whatever it is, I hope it's good and enjoyable.
Stay cool.  xx
