Yesterday was lovely. Chris and I had a lot of laughs during our chat and we swapped produce - she took a cucumber home and left me with some plums which are now stewed and in the freezer.
I did groove online with the fan on as it turned humid. Then, in the evening, I had a lovely online chat with some friends.
Today is SW and weigh in and then there's nothing in the diary until late afternoon when I'm popping over the road to a neighbour as it is her son's 18th and she's having Open House. That should be lovely.
So that's me for today. Nothing special but all very pleasant, I think.
You have a good day too. xx

Finally able to comment again after our short break. We were in The Great Tapestry of Scotland cafe on Wednesday when we heard a group of young parents saying they were off to the Scrapstore in Selkirk to get some holiday crafting materials. It reminded me that your brother is involved in this wonderful organisation? You would love the Tapestry, Joy, if you could find time to visit when you are on your Edinburgh trip. Catriona
ReplyDeleteI saw your posts on Facebook and thought it would be just my cuppa. There's going to be a lot to fit in to two days but it's on the list. I suspect I will need to go back again another time.
DeleteJohn runs the Selkirk store and will be delighted that people are talking about the store. He is very committed to it - he's 70 and keeps muttering about retirement but doesn't want to as he loves the work. xx
You have a very nice blog and your header is lovely. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteHi, Linda. That's very kind of you - greetings back from a damp Mid Essex, UK. xx
DeleteIt sounds as if you are having a lovely day. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It was very pleasant and rather lazy. :-) xx
