Morning, all. Tuesday lands and this time next week I'll probably be at Gatwick. Woo hoo.
Life is just plodding on at the moment. Circuits was good, I did some housework and Kay couldn't come.
Now, just to say, Kay is going through a very difficult time and I totally understand if she needs to reschedule. She always lets me know and I have every sympathy for her at the moment. She's a very reliable person but sometimes Real Life gets in the way.
And if she can't come this afternoon, I will understand that too.
(Just in case anyone was thinking she cancels a lot)
Today is Groove day. Chris feels her back is much better so, as the weather is good, we will be walking down to the hall and back again.
I'm trying to keep up with the washing this week so I will do a small load. It's OK because my solar panels will be providing the energy.
And then Kay comes this afternoon, I hope.
I have a little list of things to sort out/do so will work through that. Nothing major.
Just a very normal sort of day really.
How about you? xx
Podiatrist this morning, I can park at a nearby Waitrose, which is very handy and shop afterwards. Scottish Country dancing this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteHad a few minutes of horrendous panic just now, my card wallet/tin was not in my handbag as it should be and I couldn't find it anywhere so started to search from room to room in the most ridiculous places getting more and more panic stricken. Then great relief, I spied it on a shelf near the printer, left it there yesterday after I made an online bank payment when I got side-tracked and had my hands full with something else. Doh!
Oh, goodness, I feel your panic. It's an awful feeling, isn't it? I'm so glad it turned up finally.
DeleteHope you enjoyed the dancing. It sounds great xx
Normal days are good...I need a few now the grandchildren are back at school and my sister is back from holiday. I hope your friend can make it. x
ReplyDeleteNormal days are really good, I agree. It doesn't make for interesting diary entries though. :-)
DeleteYes, she made it, thank you. xx
I'm trying to keep up with the washing too as we are off to Cornwall next week and I hate coming back with a suitcase of dirty washing plus whats in the clothes basket. We have lots of childcare duties too this week. Fetching granddaughter from school and looking after Baby C, who was a bit of a s** yesterday, wanting to be held all the time. Otherwise I just take the days as they come. Xx
ReplyDeleteYes, that's the thing. The holiday washing is quite enough without older stuff. Hope you had a lovely time with baby C. xx
DeleteA person really needs those "normal" days once in awhile, where nothing surprising happens.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I love just pottering too and yesterday was nice. xx
DeleteThe trip is definitely something to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteWe leave to go visit our granddaughter on the 24th. I am so excited! We haven't seen her since the New Year
How lovely. That's a long time not to see her - and the rest of the family. The weather should be nice by then. xx
