Just a short one today because there's not much to talk about really. Life plods on, you know!
I enjoyed Groove online very much although I prefer face to face when possible.
A couple of things arrived - I have bought Alex a cabin bag like mine because he needs one and his birthday is coming up and I got one of those RFID card holder things. It struck me as sensible.

That was about it apart from all the usual stuff.
Today is busier. After coffee and chat with Chris, I am off to Val's home for another chat and more coffee, probably. And in the evening there might be an online Slim Win chat, I'm not sure yet. I would also like to start putting clothes that I'm packing on the spare room bed.
I have a recurring bad dream about not packing before a trip to go alongside the one about not being ready for an exam or doing the wrong syllabus and the one about Alex as a little boy getting lost . . .
What does that say about me, I wonder?
Do you have any recurring dreams. Not nightmares, just a bit not very nice? Do share in the comments . . .

As a fellow retired teacher (FE college) I can agree with the anxiety dreams. A new term was the worst, my dreams would be walking into the wrong classroom, teaching the wrong book etc. Also have had dreams about being at the wrong airport etc re holiday plans. Carole R
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, yes!! Or OFSTED turning up and either the lesson plans were wrong or the kids wouldn't behave - or both!!

Oh I always have a dream about forgetting my passport.
ReplyDeleteMy stress dream is about work...a job I left several years ago lol
I've not had that one but the work one - for sure. SO much to stress about in teaching. xx
DeleteI have often dreamed we’ve bought a house that has a whole upper floor that we didn’t know about, on exploration it’s full of stuff - which on closer look has no value at all…….there are also lots of made up beds, rather ramshackle and neglected. There is a slightly melancholy feel to all this…….all very odd

I rather like that one in a way - xx what a shame the 'stuff' has no value. :-)
DeleteI dreamt last night that I was pegging the washing out and Queen Elizabeth was passing me the pegs!! I think because we are going away, I've got keeping up with jobs on my mind. Plus a lady is coming in to feed the cat and I don't want her to think I'm a slattern. Xx
ReplyDeleteI love that. The queen handing you the pegs - brilliant. Did she wear her crown?
DeleteHave a lovely time away. xx
Since Harvey almost lost his passport in the UK by leaving it in a restaurant on our last day in the UK, I had nightmares for weeks. Now I am in charge of passports and know exactly where they are.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Oh, Harvey!! I would have bad dreams about that too. Thank goodness he found it. xx
DeleteI have a recurring dream of driving up a very steep hill and not able to reach the top so slide down to the bottom. Another I have is of dirty toilets. Neither need a great insight for interpretation. Sigh. Melanie xx
