Well, writing reports is one thing I really, truly don't miss about teaching - far too many early summer evenings and weekends blighted by the perishing things. Jules, I am sure Lily's report will be lovely!
I'm still chuckling. Thanks to the needs for politeness, occasionally what one would like to say wouldn't get further than the head's office so one has to find a way round it. Mostly, thought, when I made comments like that, they were genuine and sincerely meant. Mostly!
