Disaster!

I have lost my list of blogs I follow.  It's completely gone.  Damn you, Blogger.

Really sorry, everyone.  I will try to find you all again and, if you could post a comment in one of my messages, I will see what I can do to get you back on some sort of list.

Really upset about this and, if I don't make any comments for a while on your blog, please let me know.

(hoping it's just a blip and not a Blogger change)

  1. Don't panic! This happened to me, albeit momentarily, yesterday. Just check again and it might be back to normal. X

    1. Phew, thank you - panic over. They're back. Do you know what happened, Jules.

Apologies for the rant but I do love my reading around my little circle of blogging friends.

  2. It has happened occasionally before, a blogger blip but disconcerting

    1. I've never had it before and, in the light of these changes, I just panicked. Silly of me and I'm so relieved it was just a blip!
I'd miss you all so much!

  3. Perhaps keeping a paper list of blogs you follow might be an idea.
I'm having trouble with posting comments at the moment and have to go through quite a rigmarole to do so.
I'm really sad when someone stops blogging so can understand your distress.
It feels like losing a good friend. Sue

    1. It does, yes. WHen there's more or less daily communication, it's a real loss. A paper copy is an excellent idea, thanks.

  4. You don't even need a paper copy, just highlight the list and copy and paste and you can keep it in one of your folders. It even includes the links.

  5. I am not on Blogger but I know with these blogging platforms they can just change the appearance overnight. My comment alert had been a little orange dot on a bell for years and suddenly now it is bright pink. We also used to have snow over the Christmas period but they removed that. They never seem to tell you when they are 'adjusting' things and that puts me off paying for a blog platform as maybe they do the same with them.
Glad you have it back now - above comment is good advice. Have a good day x

  6. Wordpress is as bad. I occasionally lose access to the posting icon which means I can't do anything, then a couple of days later it's back again. technology - I'm sure life was less stressful without it! Asimov said that it was not computers he feared but the lack of them. I get that. How lost we all are without I.T. and yet we all used to manage perfectly well.

    1. We've got used to them and what they do for us. I'm sure we could manage withough but it would be a very different life. I look things up all the time, for example.
