The Last Day! Sunday

Good morning.  I'm rather later than usual today as I woke and dozed over a book for several hours.  It felt great!  Now I am up, the sun is shining and I can't feel any after effects of the dozes.  No stiffness or headache, so that's good.

This will be short as there's not a lot to say really.  A lazy day yesterday balanced with plans for a lazy day today.  Very nice too.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, however you spend it.

  4. The weather sounds perfect - here, it is still raining and it seems to have scared most of the people away so it's very quiet in the town - such a relief really as it does get very noisy here when the sun is out! :o)
Look forward to hearing from you when you can.

  5. I was just reading back through your blog whilst I have a cup of tea and a break and I notice you mention onion marmalade - is that THE red onion marmalade? The amazing, staggeringly delicious, incredibly moreish and just generally wonderful one you had made that we had with another amazing hugely delicious dish, your pizza? (Believe me, all the superlatives used here are totally justified. ;o) )
If it is, YUM, my goodness, so delicious! :o)
Right then, back to the grindstone.. :o)

  6. LOL - yes, it is, and it will be ready for opening when you come back in November. I had you in mind when I made it!
And thank you - I rather liked the pizza too and it's on the list to make again (in November!).
How nice it is to be appreciated for one's cooking. :-)
