Tuesday

Good morning.  It started off such a dull, gloomy, cloudy day yesterday that it looked set to last all day but while driving back home, the sun came out and it was gorgeous!  Today doesn't look anywhere near as hopeful, according to the Beeb, but warm - up to 13C, it says!  Phew.

Yesterday went according to plan, more or less.  Some things got done and some - didn't!  So washing and Christmas decorations are top of the list today, which will be a stop at home day until tuition late this afternoon.

Goodness, this is short today but there's not much to write about really.  Have a good day and I hope it's more exciting than mine looks like being.  :-)

  1. I've still got a wee Christmas tree up but I'll take it down when I'm ready. Probably once the jet lag has gone!!

    1. There's a time and a place and jet lag is not the time - it wouldn't be for me either! Hoping you recover quickly.

  2. We had a cold start yesterday followed by unbroken sunshine which was rather nice. I felt a bit wiped out after my trip to Faversham so took it easy and watched some interesting lectures for entertainment.

    1. Yes, it was rather chilly, I agree.
What lectures did you watch - was it the Christmas Sciency ones about maths?

  4. Very cold here - but the rain has stopped. I will no doubt keep warm with all the ironing I have to do today!

  5. I'm busy with things at home but it's too cold and wet to be outside so I don't mind. Roll on Spring!

  6. Our 12th night started off early as I had a chiropody app. at 9:30am 20 mins away so we were up and at 'em before I was awake.. back home we took down all the Christmas things and I was shattered, so we've had the big clean today. It's lovely to be back to normal and tidy, but the diet has started. I read back and saw you've booked a week in Southwold I 'd love to meet up, would you like to?

    1. Yes, I would, that would be very pleasant, thanks. :-)

I was a bit shattered by the time I'd finihed wrestling with the Christmas tree. It's all packed away now, neat and tidy!
      Good luck with the diet.
