Good morning, everyone. Apologies for yesterday which was an incredibly busy day with little time for thoughtful (or otherwide) blog entries. Today is also somewhat busy so this will be brief.
Just to say things are going OK and everyone seems to be well. It's all go but I can see light at the end of the tunnel, thank goodness.
I hope you are all well and thriving too.
I thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel once: turned out to be someone with a torch, bringing me more work...

I was on afternoon playground duty this afternoon and it hit me as I was indicating to the very obedient children that it was 'in-time'. I shall miss them so, so much. They have been a major part of my whole adult life. I nearly cried there and then, wimp that I am!

Yes, you will miss them but not because you are a wimp; because you are a wonderful human being. And you will still see them because you can volunteer an afternoon a week to read with the ones that need help...that way you get a 'top-up' and they benefit from your expertise. Embrace your emotions: they are what makes you human. X
