Yesterday started off with Circuits class at Lindsey's studio and it was, as always, good fun. I did loads better this week, having had a healthy weekend's eating, unlike last week which was after a weekend of afternoon tea - well, a Sunday anyway!
Strength was better, balance was better . . . and I enjoyed it a lot more.

Then I came home and got stuck into the housework. Boring but the motivation grew and I got everything done that I wanted to get done and still plenty of time for 'me' things too. It was nice coming downstairs this morning and seeing it all clean and tidy again - must keep it up now as I have so much in the diary that housework time is short (tragic, innit? ) 😀
And the day finished off with a Messenger chat with some ladies from the Facebook Slim Win group. These are always good fun and very helpful too.
And to cap it off, I had a great night's sleep. Lovely!
Today it's c-c-cold but Chris and I will warm up walking down to Groove class, assuming it isn't raining. Later on, I have a friend over for lunch - tomato, red pepper and lentil soup made yesterday with bread to dunk and grated cheese and then some fruit - she's a Slimming World girl too.
Probably no time for housework but that's OK - I won't be ashamed of downstairs now. 😀
Better go - thanks for reading and have a really good day. xx
Morning Joy. I'm sitting in bed catching up on blogs. It's too blimmin icy out to walk this morning. Much prefer your morning postings. My signal drops at night and I don't get caught up on blogs.
ReplyDeleteReally cold here too but mostly rain, no snow. I have turned the heating up yo 20!! I know how to live! xx
DeleteCraft class for me this morning and we are attempting diamond painting this morning from some cut price decorations that I bought in January! Wish me luck and onward we go. Catriona
ReplyDeleteThat sounds great fun. WIsh I lived close by! xx
DeleteHope the rain holds off for you. Our rain looks as though it's just turned into snow. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteIt rained and we drove to Groove. A few snowflakes mixed in but not for long. I hope your snow didn't last too long. xx
DeleteI do hope we get some snow, most people in blogland seems to be sharing such lovely photos, and me and Mavis got back from this mornings walk scraping mud off our boots. :-(
ReplyDeleteThat soup sounds like the perfect lunch for today.
There have been some very lovely scenes, I agree. Just as long as I'm the other side of the glass - let it snow. :-) xx
DeleteJust rain here - don't really want snow in November
ReplyDeleteNot really, no. The heating is on and I feel cosy warm and just about to settle down with some crochet - sans snow. Nice. xx
DeleteNo snow for us yet but set to get much colder. My dear old Mum would have said
ReplyDelete" That's good it'll kill off all the germs " 😆
The soup sounds just right for the season

Ditto here - below freezing overnight and for the next few nights.
DeleteThe soup was lovely and I have some left for another time too. Perfect. xx
Good that you managed to get all the household stuff done. It's certainly not something I like doing but I must admit I enjoy the results!
ReplyDeleteOn a cold day, soup is always good. It's been rather mild here though we are forecast for some snow on Thursday. I think they are just trying to scare us!
Absolutely - it's always really nice when it's done and dusted (literally!!)
DeleteHope you don't get any snow. Today has been cold but beautiful here.
xx
In the midst of a winter blizzard here. I am just so glad that we got the vehicle in today early and it now has its winter tires on. Hope you enjoyed your day.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Oh, my gosh! Thank goodness you were prepared. xx
DeleteIt was incredibly cold here.yesterday, the brakes on my bike had frozen! Looking out of the window, it looks like there's been another hard frost overnight. Xx
ReplyDeleteThat's extremely cold - we're expecting overnight frosts here for a few days. No snow though. xx
