Yesterday was a very pleasant day. Groove went well and I was careful so the old back seems fine. Lunch with Mandy was lovely. It's so nice to have a regular catch up and we've got a date for next month too.
I did a bit of gardening and will do some more this morning, I think. Some things are coming back up but some aren't, including the lupin that started off too early again and then we had frosts that cut it right back. Such a shame. The foxgloves are doing their thing and there are several flower head spires appearing and I seem to have a few iris flowers pending.
I'm not getting any bedding plants until after next week though so have plenty of time to think about what I want and where.

I need to tackle the front now!
Today I have personal training and then I'm meeting the girls for a Harvester meal and a good old catch up.
So it should be a really nice day. I hope yours is too. xx
Edit: I forgot to say I think my new little camera might be arriving today - not the bridge camera I am thinking about but a new little slip in the bag camera that will probably be better than my current one because it's new and technology has moved on.
I'm still pondering on the other . . . xx

Well done for taking it easy on your back but still exercising. I’m putting off buying bedding plants for another couple of weeks when I shall fill a few tubs. Catriona
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one. There will still be loads to choose from, I am sure. xx
DeleteI’m interested in your cameras Joy, I worry that I’m too dependent on the phone for pics and at any time could lose the lot because I’m not very tech savvy. Look forward to hearing more.

My phone is really basic and I've never mastered how it really works for photos - plus it is a pain getting the photos off it onto my laptop for editing.
DeleteAnd maybe there's more than a tough of 'old fashioned-ness' in me too. Phones are for phoning, cameras are for photos.
(not really but you know what I mean).
xx
How exciting to have a new camera coming! I hope you enjoy your meal
ReplyDeleteIt's only a very basic one. That's all I wanted because I still plan to get a better bridge camera and do that course again. I never got very far because my camera didn't do what the course said to do.
DeleteThis is a Panasonic Lumix DCM-TZ8. It's 'preloved' but looks brand new. There was no manual but they are all online now anyway, I already have a camera bag and memory cards and I've ordered a couple of spare batteries which are coming today. It was nicely under £90 which I thought was pretty good for a Panasonic.
We will see if it lives up to my expectations for it. :-) xx
Ohhh, I new camera, how very exciting. I am still looking for the battery charger for our good one. I really don't know where I put the darn thing.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I might be worth getting another one. They're not that expensive really. xx
