Lindsey's sourdough has done a first ferment very nicely in the fridge overnight and now it's just coming up to room temperature so I can do the rest.
It's looking a bit dismal right now but, assuming the weather stays dry, I'd like to start getting the garden sorted out. I did some weed scraping yesterday - they never give up!
And there's some housework to do. I know it is bank holiday but the joy of retirement is that every day is a bank holiday but without the crowds.

I did a quick top up shop this morning and was surprised at how quiet it was. Gorgeous day today so the garden is calling. Catriona
