Wednesday

Good morning.  It's another stupid o'clock start for me today but I'm sure I will pop back up for another bit of sleep in a while.  Hope so anyway as today is a busy day - in the morning anyway.

It wasn't such a nice day yesterday, weather wise, as the skies clouded over and it kept threatening to rain.  I did the washing but it didn't dry outside, sadly.  Today looks like light rain and tomorrow heavy rain so same old!

SW group was lovely and I got the last Body Magic award, the Platinum.  It's a certificate and a nice, shiny sticker.  Two and a half years ago, just before the gall bladder decided to make its presence felt in my life, who would ever have thought it, eh?  Any old friend reading will know what I mean here.  Things have changed so much and for the better too.

After group, I set off in the car to do various things.  I picked up a prescription and  want to the pharmacy next to the surgery, I went to Sainsburys and got bits and bobs including things I'd not planned far - bad me - and then headed back home again for some tuition.  I'd planned to do some sewing but that didn't happen.

On to today and Jeff is coming at eight so I'll need to be up and ready by then.
At half ten, the lovely Sharon is round to do our hair, mine and Beth's, and then it's off for this week's personal training.

Come the afternoon I'll get on with the pile of ironing from yesterday and then, fingers crossed, have time for sewing.  I hope so anyway, I don't want to waste the daylight hours in snoozing today.

It's funny how being busy seems to go in waves.  There's times when there's nothing is the diary and then, like buses, it all comes along at once.  Do you find that?  This week is one of those weeks but I do seem to have a free weekend, fingers crossed.
xx

  1. I know just what you mean I am trying to spread things over the week so I don't end up with everything on one day.

    1. It just happens like that, doesn't it. Sometimes they can be spread out and sometimes not.
It is nice to have a free weekend though, no complaints!

  3. Even if I think I have nothing much on somehow things appear that I need to do or someone will ring requiring my presence. Congratulations on the certificate - I think maybe I need to award some to myself to keep me going with my health regime.x

    1. It's funny how life is so often like that, isn't it?
Why not award yourself - I think that's a great strategy, much better than a food reward which is somewhat counter-productive, isn't it?
