Yesterday was just a happy day because:
I slept really well over Sunday night and didn't wake until nearly seven.
At circuits, I felt as strong and energetic as I was before I got the virus.
The coffee morning at school was really good and I felt useful.
I couldn't go over to Beth's but she's invited me over for lunch (hm soup) today. I can take her bread and ravioli then).
I properly sorted put the paperwork on my desk and there were no unpleasant surprises, nothing forgotten that should have been paid!
And as a result, I found two recipes I have been looking for.
My meals were all tasty!!
Some kaftans I ordered (for Crete and Shimmy in Spain) arrived and I really like them. They're not the most flattering (kaftans are very loose, after all) but flattering is as flattering does, they will be cool and I feel comfortable in them.

DeleteI like the sound of the kaftans, comfort is so important.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it’s a very dull , wet February day here I’m taking comfort from all our tete a tete daffodils that are just beginning to open, because they are not on long stems the amount of wind we get on the top of the hill where we live doesn’t bother them a jot!

DeleteA few of my longer stemmed daffs have flopped a bit as the buds get heavier but I have loads of minis that always do well. It's so good to see the bulbs all growing quickly now, isn't it, plus other, later spring/summer flowers are also starting to emerge. So cheering. xx
Comfort has to come before fashion for me these days and you will want to keep cool when you are away on holiday. It sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday.

Certainly when one is on holiday. We want to fee at ease, don't we? I have a few other lightweight dresses so I think I am pretty much there as far as holiday dresses are concerned. I just need to get some shorts - long shorts, not short shorts - I wouldn't inflict the latter on anyone! :-) xx
