Sunday

Good morning, blogland friends!

I was thinking about the swimming 'want' and how to fit it in.
I could do every other Monday.
Tuesdays are out until May because of pottery - don't want a mad rush.
I could do Wednesday's and Thursday - usually, anyway.
I could do every other Friday and ditto for Saturday and Sunday.
So, really, there's no excuse.  I think I must write it onto my meal planner - by that, I mean the days I want to go each week to a maximum of three a week (for now anyway).
So it's do-able and I have the time.  Now I just have to DO IT!  :-)

Fingers crossed!!!

If you have bad weather today, take care and stay safe.  xx

  1. If we want something enough, there's usually a way of doing it or fitting it in. Then we just need the impetus to actually DO it! I keep saying I'll do more walking...my excuse for not doing it is that I'm a fair weather walker. Not much of an excuse really...

    1. Oh, and my hips hurt....but possibly if I walked more and lost some weight, my hips might not hurt as much!

    2. I think you're absolutely right there, spot on. I think, re the walking, if it hurts, it isn't fun and if it isn't fun, we don't do it.
I used to hate walking because my back, hip, knees and ankles all ached so badly, even after a short time. Then I had to start losing the weight because of the gallbladder problems. Walking stopped being so uncomfortable and now I enjoy it much more, so I do it. A sort of cause and effect thing really.

  2. Our swimming will start again next week, once Lily's spots have all cleared. We try and keep to a regular day and time which means I'm more encouraged to go. Lily would go every day if she could! We have a treat of pizza on a swimming night too, as it's quick and easy to put in the oven once we get home. X

    1. Pizza sounds like great motivation! :-) I'm glad Lily is recovering.

  3. Motivation is the name of the game but I don't think Amazon sell it if they did I would need to buy a bucket load. I am full of ideas but often fail to carry them out.

  4. Good luck with getting it slotting into your week. I'm the same with walking ... starting off with good intentions but it doesn't take much to distract me from my plan. I hope you have more will power than me!

    1. < grin > Well, we will see. It'll help if the weather is better and come the warmer weather I won't have motivation problems, I am sure. When time permits, I might take the bus - it's just a ten minute walk and will be an extra bit of exercise. But first things first . . .
