Friday, 03-04-26

Good morning, everyone.  Welcome to Good Friday, probably the most important day in the Christian year.

Yesterday was a really lovely day, packed with friends.

We had a good old chat, Chris, T and me, with plenty of laughs between cups of coffee.
A bit later Diane came over and it was lovely - we talked a lot about Crete and next Christmas - how we are looking forward to it all.
After I had cleared up, I rested with crochet and Sort Your Life Out.
A simple, very enjoyable day.

Today is Slimming World and then the day's my own.  I think I will do some gardening, if weather permits.  And I have one load of washing to do.  And that's that really.
Have a lovely day, whether you are spending it alone or with family and enjoy that Easter egg if you indulge.  xx

  2. I can't believe that it's Easter all ready, how did that happen? I am praying for good weather on Sunday when I visit mum so I can wheel her to the park. Sadly, I would have liked to attend our Easter Sunday service, but can't do both. Have a lovely Easter weekend x

    1. It's really quite scary how the time is flying. We are a quarter of the way through 2026 and I have no idea where the time is going! Have a lovely time with your mum. xx

  3. Happy Easter to you too, Joy. I went shopping this morning for lunch items for Sunday. A buffet with hot and cold food from M and S-I decided to blow the budget and give us all a treat! We went early to the retail park but it was still heaving. Round the shop like a flash and home again. Better set on with some housework now. Catriona

    1. That sounds absolutely lovely and I know everyone will thoroughly enjoy the buffet. M&S stuff is very good.
Easter is getting as bad as Christmas when it comes to food buying, I think. xx

  4. Suddenly it feels, Easter is here, I think we’ve eaten our own weight in Easter eggs already - no self control around chocolate 😂
