Monday

Good morning!  Storm Franklin is blowing steadily away right now, nothing like as bad as Eunice was but quite enough for comfort.  It didn't really start until after dark and is supposed to be quite strong this afternoon round here but time will tell.

Yesterday morning was a snuggle time inside.  Plenty of cross stitching, reading, cooking and a bit of housework kept me happily content.  I popped over to Beth's where we made some plans for this and that and caught up on what's been going on.

Today there's two things.  One is circuit training at Lindsey's which I should get to unless the storm is much worse than predicted, and then tuition later on.

And that's about it for today.  I do hope all is well at your end and that you are safe, warm and well.  Take care. xx

  1. I hadn't realised we were due yet another storm but it's certainly windy here - I shall investigate the weather website for when the worst is due.
    Have a good day

    1. Three named storms in a week. Most unusual. Apparently the Gulf Stream is 'a bit lively' at the moment. You're telling me!!!

  2. Oh Storm Franklin has been almost as bad as Eunice here. Our bins all went berserk again, even knocking over the wooden pallet that was supposed to be trapping them in place, one lid has snapped off and I eventually found it in next doors back garden, so it travelled quite a way as the bins are situated in our front garden. The fence panels have worked loose and the bird spikes that used to surround our neighbours solar panels rained down on my car, thankfully not scratching it. I'm just glad they didn't hit a person.

It's definintely a day for staying in, especially as Alan has just been pinged by the Covid App on his phone and has to take a test each day for the next couple of days and isolate even if the first one is clear.

    1. Oh, no, I'm sorry to read this. I'm very glad your car wasn't damaged. My car nearly got hit by next door's bath!
And I do hope Alan will be OK -you too

  3. I didn't realise there was another storm today! It's felt just as bad as Eunice at times today so I abandoned any hopes of clearing the patio pots and have stayed indoors. I hope you've escaped unscathed xx

  4. We are supposed to have more snow, as well. Glad that you have been safe and warm. I went kayaking in the marina yesterday. It was wonderful to be out in the sunshine.
