And isn't it nice to get the potatoes in?<br />xxJoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16116524003944939298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5648310406783744033.post-34421991339881686282021-04-07T14:20:59.547+01:002021-04-07T14:20:59.547+01:00Brilliant to use your plastic bottles as mini cloc...Brilliant to use your plastic bottles as mini cloches, I had far too many stacked up in the polytunnel ready for use outside, but they work a treat don't they, and if you remove the lids you can leave tender plants quite happily in them for a while they do seem to come on well with the warmth of the bottle around them ... and of course slugs and snails can't get in.<br /><br />I also used a pop bottle as a 'watering can' for just sown seeds in trays simply by pushing lots of holes in the lid and then squeezing the water out. I want to do some more at the weekend if it's a bit warmer.
