It was a disaster!). There are some lovely patterned fabrics about. Have fun. xxSoozehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03762391472811785736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5648310406783744033.post-449900207631230952020-02-23T07:44:08.029+00:002020-02-23T07:44:08.029+00:00Yes, and it's bias so would take a lot of fabr...Yes, and it's bias so would take a lot of fabric so I will probably look for some cream bias binding in the shop, something that matches the background. I have a wee gadget that makes bias bindng (and saeam binding) from strips of cloth but I may not use that. It depends.<br />xxJoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16116524003944939298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5648310406783744033.post-35457135345365988202020-02-23T07:42:05.541+00:002020-02-23T07:42:05.541+00:00It used to be much cheaper to make your own than b...It used to be much cheaper to make your own than buy but it's completely the opposite now. I ...I like kimono style tops and dresses very much. I have a cotton kimono dressing gown for summer which I am very fond of but is looking a bit tired. It would probably be easy enough to take the pattern from it and make another but I am not sure if it would be much cheaper than buying one. Fabric is so expensive so you are wise to run up the patten in a cheaper fabric first. The wind is really battering the trees here this morning.Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17769428408767311874noreply@blogger.com
